Water and Sewage Treatment Plants
For over 60 years Richardson Electrical Co., Inc. has been the leading electrical contractor in New England water, wastewater, and sewage treatment plant construction. Our projects have canvassed every area of this section of the Country. Our experience has spanned from a $20,000.00 sewage aerated facility in Hinesburg, VT. to a $2,800,000.00 water treatment facility in No. Andover, MA. These jobs generally encompass an 18 to 36 month construction commitment.
These projects are extremely material intensive and, as such require close coordination to insure the work remains on schedule. We have found that projects such as these that carry a 25% or lower labor to materials percentage will never vary more than 2% from our estimate.
A partial list of our completed projects include:
- Upper Blackstone Regional, Wastewater Facility, Auburn, Massachusetts
- Kennebec Valley, Wastewater Treatment Facility, Waterville, Maine
- Montpelier, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Montpelier, Vermont
- Gloucester Sewage Treatment Plant, Gloucester, Massachusetts
- Wells Wastewater Treatment Plant, Wells, Maine, North Andover, Massachusetts
- North Andover, Water Treatment Plant
- Seabrook Sewage Plant, Seabrook, New Hampshire
- Merrimack Wastewater Treatment, Merrimack, New Hampshire
- EMC2, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Hopkington, Massachusetts
- Greater Lawrence, Wastewater Treatment Facility, No. Andover, Massachusetts
- Lawrence Water Treatment Plant, Lawrence, Massachusetts
- Lowell Water Treatment Plant, Lowell, Massachusetts
Personnel requirements even for an extremely large plant are never more than the 8 to 12 electricians so close control of labor is relatively easy to accomplish. Of our eight trained Foreman/Supervisors seven have completed at least three major plants while in our employment and one man has over a dozen.
